Beyerskloof Pinotage Reserve 2009
Dark berry and plum flavours are well balanced with complex aromas from new French Oak. A wine with a long finish that could last in the bottle for 10 years or more.

Full-bodied Pinotage with a purple deep red colour. The intense black berry and purple fruit flavours are well integrated with the cedar flavours of the French oak. This wine is serious and suavely refined. The “older more sophisticated brother” of the well-known Beyerskloof Pinotage. Mulberry/strawberry-imbued 06 reaffirms Truter as 'Pinotage King'. Unashamedly high-toned with sufficient extract, linear tannin, spicy-juicy fruit & latent power to improve a decade. 14 mths new Fr oak; 14.2% alc. (Platter 2009) Serious and suavely refined. The intense black berry and purple fruit flavours are well integrated with the cedar flavours of the French oak. In 1998 Beyers Truter, formerly the wine maker at Kanonkop and known as the pinotage King decided to buy a farm together with 4 ardent wine lovers which they named Beyerskloof. Today they produce wines of exceptional character with one thing in common – pinotage!! Serious and suavely refined. The intense black berry and purple fruit flavours are well integrated with the cedar flavours of the French oak.
