Haute Cabrière Pinot Noir 2008

Pinot Noir in itself is a very earthy and elegant red grape varietal. Mature cherry and tea leaf aromas on the nose. Try this wine slightly chilled with fresh oysters.

Gorgeous! Bright cherry and strawberry fruits, satin texture and an ever so subtle hint of the earthy and elegant nature of this alluring red grape varietal. 05 (***1/2 stars) restrained, showing less fruit & charm than 04. Gd acid/tannin balance makes fine food partner. (Platter 2009)

Brings to mind dark fruit backed, by perfectly integrated tannins. An elegant wine, with flavours that linger long on the palate. This wine will benefit by decanting, bringing the shy aromas to the fore.
