La Motte Brut Méthode Cap Classique 2009The wine shows a typical champagne colour, with a very fine, lively mousse. The nose has golden delicious apple fruit complemented by yeasty dough and biscuit aromas. The palate is as lively, with a creamy balanced finish. |

La Motte Sauvignon Blanc 2011Although in general 2011 was a difficult year for white wines, this wine shows a distinct intensity of gooseberry, green apple, lime and pineapple to reveal its varietal characteristics. A firm natural acid keeps the palate in balance with the 2.5g residual sugar ensuring a lively freshness so essential for a dry aperitif-style wine. |

La Motte Chardonnay 2009Pineapple and grapefruit with a hint of dried peaches in the background. Wood maturation appears in the form of straw and toffee. Medium to light in style, but complex, with layers of fruit and yeast. |

La Motte Shiraz 2009The wine shows an intense spicy nose with aniseed, clove and black pepper surrounded by black cherry and blue berry fruit. Some liquorice and toffee notes are present. The palate is fullbodied, chewy and juicy, with integrated wood tannin that creates a pleasant clean, dry finish. (2008 AVAILABLE IN 1.5ltr) |

La Motte Cabernet Sauvignon 2009The wine reflects varietal aromas on the nose, with wild berries, tomato leaf, cedar, cinnamon spice, dark chocolate and truffle prominent. The heavy-bodied palate has a firm structure, but a fine tannin texture and a pleasant dry after-taste. Can be best enjoyed 2012 - 2022. |

La Motte Millennium 2009A dusty, earthy nose with raspberry and mulberry fruit, cinnamon spice and a hint of mint, promising a complex wine. The first touch on the palate is velvety and juicy. The mid-palate is firm, but medium-bodied and the finish mineral-dry and lingering. A very elegant wine, with finesse, that will develop depth and complexity with age. |

La Motte Hanneli R 2005The combination of a good vintage and maturation in new wood has produced a wine with exceptional depth, complexity and personality. The first impression is that of floral perfume and pot-pourri, combined with the flavours of sweet stewed prunes and liquorice, backed by caramel wood flavours. The tannins of the wood and grapes are combined, to form a highly structured, surprisingly soft palate. The wine leaves a minty freshness on the palate. |
