La Motte Shiraz 2009

The wine shows an intense spicy nose with aniseed, clove and black pepper surrounded by black cherry and blue berry fruit. Some liquorice and toffee notes are present. The palate is fullbodied, chewy and juicy, with integrated wood tannin that creates a pleasant clean, dry finish. (2008 AVAILABLE IN 1.5ltr)

With smoky aromas & peppery spices on the nose & palate, this benchmark Cape shiraz shows exceptional fruit and has a long, impressive aftertaste of soft, ripe tannins. Shiraz spices such as nutmeg, aniseed, cinnamon and clove backed by blackcurrant, sweet candy-floss aromas and pomegranate fruit flavours with a peppery finish.
