Meerlust
One of the oldest and most renowned estates in South Africa's beautiful Cape, Meerlust was acquired by the Myburgh family in 1756. Bolstered by their vision of uncompromising quality, the estate has consistently produced wines of International acclaim. A mere 5 km away from False Bay, Indian Ocean breezes complement the moderate climate by providing cooling, southeast winds to the young grapes in the summer. Meerlust wines are classic in style, accessible at release but are created to mature over several years in order to reward the discerning wine lover. All Meerlust wines are grown and matured in French oak on the estate.
