Mulderbosch Vineyards, situated in the Stellenbosch Hills area outside Stellenbosch, is widely accepted as being one of the best white wine producers in the country. We are committed to conserve our unique natural heritage, landscape and natural biodiversity by implementing environmentally responsible management practices on the land and in the cellar. Mulderbosch Steen op Hout Chenin Blanc 2010Pale yellow in colour with a hint of green. On the nose, tinned pineapples, guavas, litchi, lemon and lime aromas are abundant. A clean, lively wine with nuances of nutmeg and cloves. Well-balanced and elegant, but with weight and a powerful follow-through on the palate. Stylistically off-dry and lightly oaked this is an excellent food wine. |

Mulderbosch Small Change Chenin Blanc 2009Straw-yellow colour. A sensory assault on the nose of honeysuckle, jasmine, Galia melon, cape gooseberry (Physalis), red apple and Valencia orange peel. The palate pictures a steaming baked apple filled with raisins and cinnamon, dripping with honey and dotted with clove and Turkish apricot. A lively acid keeps the wine in check and its farewell is long and rewarding. |

Mulderbosch Sauvignon Blanc 2011A bright lemon-green colour with a pronounced nose of crushed stinging nettles, lemon zest, green fig and black current leaves all held together by an intriguing floral note. A vivid palate with an engaging concentration of clementine peel, granadilla pulp, Cape gooseberry and Charentais melon; a rich texture that caresses the palate, offset by a perky acidity. Complex with a refreshing finish. |

Mulderbosch Chardonnay 2008Lime zest, mineral salts, ripe cut pear and flint notes dance a merry jig on the nose whilst an array of white nectarine, oatmeal and even a hint of walnut tempt the palate. A rich textured mid palate and complex spicy oak nuances are supported with an invigorating/fresh acidity that yields to a persistent finish and farewell notes of pecan pie and squashed grapefruit that linger on and indulge your senses. |

Mulderbosch Barrel Fermented Chardonnay 2008This lively wine shows green and gold hues. Packed with classic Chardonnay fruit, the wine entices the senses with tones of vanilla, English country garden herbs, buttered toast, rolled oats, peach pip, chestnut and tangerine. The long lees contact ensured a robust, round and sensual palate that lingers on the aftertaste. |

Mulderbosch Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé 2011Complex layers of strawberry, cherry, roses and fresh peaches on the nose. The wine has a spicy, slightly peppery taste well balanced with a fresh, long finiA soft, watermelon pink colour with orange tints. A gamut of rose petals, lime zest, wild strawberry and freshly picked raspberries assault the olfactory senses. These red berry aromas follow through on the palate supplemented with nutmeg spice and ground pepper which is balanced by a refreshing acidity, softly textured mouth feel that leave a lingering farewell. |

Mulderbosch Shiraz 2006Deep black cherry colour. The nose is met with blackberry and plum fruit overlaid with star anise, clove, vanilla and crème fraiche. Supple entry on the palate with intriguing black olive, blackcurrant, fresh liquorice stick, coffee bean and wafer biscuit. The mid palate is broad and the texture velvety with complex notes of milk chocolate, ceylon tea, wood spice and stewed plum which give way to powdery tannins and persistent length. |

Mulderbosch Faithful Hound 2009Deep, black cherry colour penetrating from hue to rim. A surfeit of blackcurrant/cassis, blueberry jam and plum fruit alongside souboise, graphite, vanilla pod, tobacco and cedar wood typical of a classical styled Cabernet-based blend. Full body showing a grainy texture with mid palate richness, fresh fruits as nose amalgamated with boysenberry, damson, fruitcake, coffee bean and dried herbs (clove, anise) that finish with a powdery tannin that will need a few more years to resolve and long length making one esurient for another glass.
