Elegant, harmoniously balanced barrel-fermented Chardonnay. Aromas of orange blossom, pear and baked apple interact with touches of mango and vanilla forming a multi-layered, complex bouquet. On the palate the wine displays intense concentration, depth and a rich creaminess. Hints of hazelnut complete the long mouthfeel. STOCKS ARE LIMITED. Ripe but elegant chard, 06 from Sbosch, Hldrberg, Darling grps. Well-focused aromas honeysuckle, exotic fruits & lime. Textured & balanced, with moderate 13% alc, oak (25% new). 20% unwooded for freshness. (Platter 2009) An elegant, barrel fermented chardonnay. Clean and crisp with a soft, creamy texture and rich, dense mouthfeel. Full-balanced with well-integrated wood and toasted almond flavours. Precision viticulture and winemaking practices take place here to produce these reserve wines from Rupert & Rothschild. Very limited and a treat worth waiting for. An elegant, barrel- fermented chardonnay. Clean and crisp with a soft, creamy texture and rich, dense mouth feel.
