|
The wine has a pale straw colour with a greenish tint. A bouquet of citrus, lemon and lime and orange peel aromas invites you to his wine. Followed by pear drop, ripe apple, spicy vanilla and a hint of nutmeg. The entry of the wine is packed with ripe fruit and the underlined buttery flavours make this wine smooth and elegant with a silky finish. A classic Chardonnay with balance and finesse. 07‘s oak supports, doesn’t dominate - unlike 06 (*** 1/2 stars); lemon/lime freshness cuts buttery softness, creamy but dry. Ferm/11 mths oak, 22% new. (Platter 2009) This wine is packed with ripe fruit and underlined with buttery flavours, making it smooth and elegant with a silky finish. A classic chardonnay with balance and finesse.
