Simonsig Cuvée Royale 2005
Toasty warm bread flavours with a touch of oak nuttiness and elegant citrus aromas. A delicate, complex Blanc de Blancs with a sophisticated dry finish.

Delicate warm bread flavours indicate excellent evolution on the yeast over an 8 year period. Primary fruit bouquet is still showing citrus and sweet berries giving the Cuvée Royale richness and depth on the palate. The smooth creamy mousse refreshes the taste buds and leaves the palate calling for more. Occasional prestige MCC. Last-tasted was rich 99 from unoaked chard, with whiffs apple, cinnamon.
