Firm structure and good balance between acid, tannins and fruit on the palate with a soft velvet finish make this wine the ideal partner to all roasted red meats. This wine will continue to develop and should keep between seven and ten years. 07 has lily, mineral & spice nuances, brisk acidity, loose-knit tannins, savoury tone (no obvious signs of new Am oak (40%, yr). Shows restraint though v ripe & powerful (14.4% alc). (Platter 2009) |
