07 tasted as smpl pvs ed; mid-2008 still smacks of the sea: ‘oyster shell’ & iodine whiffs, wave-fresh acidity; greengage & lemongrass add yet more flavour. Weighty, poised, with commendably modest 13% alc. (Platter 2009) This wine has elegance thanks to the crisp acidity that allows for the accentuation of the flint and mineral characteristics.
