Light and fruity with hints of red berries and cherries. Smooth, earthy, forest floor notes with distinct strawberry that rounds off to a minerally apricot finish.

A medium–bodied wine. Lively aromas of red fruit dominates the nose, with strong hints of strawberries, raspberries and cherries. Light and fresh with a slight toastiness. The wine shows predominant red fruit with a good undertone of forest floor on the front palate. Well balanced and elegant with a lingering aftertaste of wild strawberries. The wine could be drunk now or over the next 3 to 4 years. It should be enjoyed with meat like game or lamb or fish (tuna or salmon). The wine is best served at around 12 to 13 degrees Celsius. 05, out of vtge sequence, accessible if robust; some earthy, strawberry textured sweetness, roughish finish. Drink soon. (Platter 2009)
