Anthonij Rupert Main Blend
Only hand picked grapes from premier sites go into this Flagship red Bordeaux Blend, comprising predominately Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. This terroir specific wine is produced from grapes from the family's L'Ormarins vineyards which adds richness and fullness to the wine, whilst grapes from the Rooderust vineyards supply the intense fruit aromas. Together these terroirs produced a unique wine, aged for 24 months in 100% new French oak, bottled then matured for a further 24 months.

Anthonij Rupert Cabernet Sauvignon
From the outset, Anthonij Rupert Wyne, has been dedicated to producing the finest noble French varietals of the Old world, and giving them a modern expression in some of the top terroirs of the Cape. The Anthonij Rupert range represents the pinnacle of the estate's winemaking ability. The naturally fermented Cabernet Sauvignon is aged for 24 months in 80% new French oak. Bottled unfiltered and unfined, this prestigious wine is aged for another 24 months before release.

Anthonij Rupert Cabernet Franc
One of the grape varietals that make up the classic Bordeaux-style red blend. Here, Cabernet Franc is allowed to shine in all it's glory as an intergrated and complex, single varietal wine. Grapes come from vines planted on very specific vineyards sites and soil types, that allow the full personality of the varietal and the terroir to be expressed. The Cabernet Franc was aged for 18 to 24 months in 225L new French oak barrels, bottled unfiltered, and bottle aged for a year before release.

Anthonij Rupert Merlot
The first vintage of the flagship range was released in 2009. The vineyards for the Merlot were selected from vines planted on very specific sites and soil types. This characteristic Merlot blends Old World structure and New World techniques. Shows admirable restraint and was aged for 18 to 24 months in mainly new French oak, bottled unfiltered and bottle aged for a further 2 years.

Anthonij Rupert Syrah
The flagship Anthonij Rupert Wyne range, represents the pinnacle of quality, achieved by using only the highest quality grapes from the best suited terroirs and are vinified in state-of-the-art cellars on the estate. The Syrah was aged for 18-24 months in 225L French oak barrels. The plush Syrah is bottled unfiltered, and bottle aged for a further 2 years.

Anthonij Rupert Optima
The Anthonij Rupert Wyne philosophy melds the Old World focus on use of best viticultural sites and modern New World winemaking practices. A Bordeaux Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Each component was aged separately and then matured in 225L French oak barrels for 20 months. The grapes selected for the Optima come from the Rupert family's L’Ormarins Estate in Franschhoek and Rooderust farm in Darling.
