Mullineux Old Vines White
The Swartland is blessed with an abundance of old vine Chenin Blanc and Mullineux uses this as the backbone of their white blend, adding several small parcels of white Mediterranean varieties - Clairette Blanche, Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Semillon Gris, Viura and Verdelho - for complexity, balance and aromatic lift. The grapes come from 7 sustainably farmed vineyards that range between 11 and 60 years old parcels in different parts of the Swartland.

Mullineux Straw Wine 375ml
Produced from one parcel of 38 year old Kasteelberg Chenin Blanc and one parcel of 40+ year old, dry land bush vine Paardeberg Chenin Blanc. These parcels are harvested at normal ripeness levels that gives the best natural acidity at harvest. The grapes are then dried outside, in the shade until they are half raisined, concentrating the flavors, acidity and sugar to create a well balanced, super intense and remarkable wine.

Mullineux Granite Chenin Blanc
Mullineux was established in 2007, when Chris and Andrea Mullineux settled in the Swartland wine region, firmly believing that the old vineyards of the Swartland have the potential to produce truly great wines. The Chenin Blanc was harvested from a 43 year old parcel of sustainably and dry farmed bush vines planted in the Paardeberg. The very deep decomposed Granite soil produces a wine with great acidity and a flinty, stony aromatic profile. 11 months maturation in 3rd and 4th fill French oak barrels.
